8. Alan is still 23 years old.

Alan Walker was born on August 24, 1997 in Northampton, United Kingdom. Alan Walker is the son of Hilde Omdal Walker, a Norwegian, and Philip Alan Walker, a Briton of Anglo-Scottish extraction.
By birth, he was granted dual citizenship, both in Norway and the United Kingdom on the basis of his parental origin. Alan’s full name is Alan Olav Walker. At the age of two, he moved to Bergen, Norway, with his parents and siblings. 
Walker grew up with two siblings, an older sister, Camilla, who was also born in England, and a younger brother, Andreas, born in Norway. Alan says that one of the reasons for him to enter a different field was the mixing of the two cultures of his two sisters.

7. Alan learned music by himself.

After, He started producing his music on his laptop using FL Studio. Alan began pursuing his music production career and slowly began posting his music to YouTube and SoundCloud.

Alan Walker learned to become a music producer by watching videos on YouTube. Thus began his musical career and began to study the compositions of famous composers such as Hans Zimmer. 
He started his professional music career in 2012 and posted his music to YouTube and SoundCloud. The first thing he wanted to do was ask people who enjoyed his music about the flaws in them. 
He was better known as “DJ Walkzz” before signing a record deal and releasing his debut single in 2014.

Walker released the track “Fade” on 17 August 2014. Through this track he gained the attention of the whole world. The track has over 400 million views on YouTube, 115 million plays on Spotify, and 41 million streams on SoundCloud. 
Walker signed with MER Musikk under Sony Music Sweden and released his next song, “Faded”. This song was released on 8 December 2015 and featured uncredited Naustdal pop singer Iselin Solheim. 
The music video on YouTube has over 3 billion views and 18 million likes, placing it among the top 10 most liked YouTube videos.

4. Alan’s first concert was very special

 Walker made his performance debut at the Winter X Games in Oslo, where he performed 15 tracks. He had the opportunity to hold a concert like this at this sports festival which is being held with the participation of 10 countries. 
He had the opportunity to hold such a concert because he is Norwegian. This was an opportunity that no other DJ in history had.

Alan Walker uses a hoodie and face mask when he performs on stage. In the early days, he did this to hide his identity. He thought it would be more popular not to know him. He ended up using his real name, Alan Walker, as his artist name after signing up with a record label.
He designed his logo in 2013, a symbol consisting of intertwined letters “A” and “W” which are the initials of his name.

In June 2016, Walker released the song, ‘Sing Me to Sleep,’ which featured singer Iselin Solheim. It has over 647 million views on YouTube.
He released the song ‘Alone,’ featuring the Swedish singer Noonie Bao It has over 1.1 billion views on YouTube. It was described as the final piece of Walker’s trilogy. The other two being ‘Faded’ and ‘Sing Me to Sleep’. 
Walker became the top YouTuber in Norway, with more than 40 million subscribers. He has already created a large number of music tracks and songs.

Awarded the highest platinum certification available for one of his greatest musical compositions, “Faded”. The specialty of this song is that it has been awarded platinum certification in 14 countries.
In 2016, Alan Walker won the Norwegian Act award for the first time at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
His “Faded” track became the Best Single Track at the 2017 Brit Awards.
This “Faded” track also won the Best International Hit of the Year award at the Swiss Music Awards.
Alan Walker has so far won 17 international awards for his songs. He has been nominated for 13 more awards.
